pandas.tseries.holiday.nearest_workday(dt)[source]#

Move Saturday to Friday and Sunday to Monday.

Most US federal holidays follow this rule.

Parameters:

dtdatetime: The date the holiday falls on.

Returns:

datetime: The date the holiday is observed on.
