pandas.api.extensions.ExtensionArray.transpose#

ExtensionArray.transpose(*axes)[source]#

Return a transposed view on this array.

The base implementation supports only 1-dimensional arrays, for which the transpose is the array itself. It is included for compatibility with np.ndarray.

Parameters:
*axesint

Ignored by the base implementation. Subclasses that support 2-dimensional arrays interpret them as numpy.ndarray.transpose() does.

Returns:
ExtensionArray

The transposed array. A 1-dimensional array is its own transpose.
