DataFrame.pop(item)[source]#

Return item and drop it from DataFrame. Raise KeyError if not found.

Parameters:

itemlabel: Label of column to be popped.

Returns:

Series: Series representing the item that is dropped.

...         ("parrot", "bird", 24.0),
